  • Start your KY Lake trip out right with a hearty breakfast at Fast Eddie’s Bait & Tackle! Extremely large pancakes with a side of country ham or bacon. You’ll want to come hungry!

 

  • Spend the rest of the morning at the beaches at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park! Open from 10am-7pm seasonally. Or, take a short hike at Kenlake State Resort Park. For a longer hike take both the Cherokee and Chickisaw Trails.

  • Go horseback riding at Kentucky Dam Village! From 9am-7pm Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, there are 45 minute trail rides going out every hour.

  • Play mini-golf and then take a walk to pet and feed all of the animals!  Visit Maggie’s Jungle Golf & Jungle Run where they have goats, peacocks, emu, ostrich, a camel and more!

Evening:

 

  • Enjoy a fun night at the Calvert City Drive InArrive around 4:30-6pm to ensure a good spot. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to sit outside your car to watch the movie. The double feature begins at dusk, but the food line fills up quick so make a whole evening out of it! Bring lawn games to play, have a picnic dinner and just have fun being together before the movies begin.

Morning:

 

  • Have an adventure on the lake together! KY Lake offers many Guided Fishing Experiences for the whole family:  Take the whole family and learn how to fish! Some of our guided services will even filet your catch so you can cook it for dinner that night. Find a fishing guide here.

Afternoon:

 

  • Have a fun day all in one spot! The kids are going to love driving bumper cars or go-karts, playing mini-golf and walking through the museum. Spend the afternoon at Forgotten Past.
