Some fun days on the lake this weekend. Today was a little tougher but still fun fishing some new areas. Yesterday was phenomenal. I wished I had someone with me as I couldn’t throw at all the fish I saw. I had a steady flurry for about 15 fish in a row where I’d see one, set the hook, scoop him, unhook him, pitch it in the livewell, get back up front. See one, set the hook and repeat.
Sorry to the spider riggers that were 50 yards away that cussed everytime I set the hook. I was literally going on a path where I saw the least boats and just fishing for open water fish. But those guys cussed every time I set the hook for about 10 fish in a row. 🤷🏽♂️🤣
As a rule I generally stay away from crowds when I fish. But when you get calm 75 degree days in February, you are going to be around some people some of the time. 🤣
I am glad to see so many folks caught fish this past week. It’s been really good. Gonna be time to get our floaties out if this rain comes for 7 days straight. I’m here for it. Gonna be a fun March on the lakes!
