There’s a full lineup of Christmas fun around the lake this weekend. Saturday brings Holly-Day Hills Christmas at Holiday Hills Resort, “The Wizard of Oz” at Playhouse in the Park, Breakfast with Santa, Benton’s Christmas celebration, and The Grinch showing at the Calvert Drive-In. Sunday keeps the momentum going with a visit from Santa in downtown Murray, more showings of “The Wizard of Oz,” the 2025 Tour of Homes, and a Christmas event at First Baptist. It’s a great weekend to get out, explore a bit, and enjoy the holiday season.

Floyd, while still possessing an Ohio address, may as well be an official resident of the LBL. From 2017-2019, no one could touch Floyd on Kentucky Lake (three straight AOYs in the BFL LBL Division) – so it came as no surprise to see the mercurymarine pro catch the largest bass of the Championship Round and secure another Top-10 finish on a fishery he knows so well.
