It's hummingbird time at Nature Station! What better way to celebrate than to enjoy a catered meal prepared just for you in our beautiful backyard as ruby-throated hummingbirds fill the air! Our backyard sees up to 200 hummingbirds a day, and they all come to feast at our easy-to-watch bird feeders! If you love hummingbirds, you certainly won't want to miss this! Leatherworking

In the 1850s, leather was a staple good that was used to make sturdy shoes, saddles, bags, and even hinges on your windows in a pinch. Although leather can last a very long time, it still occasionally needs to be replaced, maintained, repaired - or even turned into something to sell. Then step out into our backyard gardens to watch our friendly neighborhood ruby-throats buzz around!

Beacon Rescue Land Navigation Challenge

If you're looking for a challenge that goes beyond a typical trail run, the Beacon Rescue Land Navigation Challenge puts your endurance and navigation skills to the test. Held August 22 in Land Between the Lakes, participants will tackle an eight-mile course using only a map and compass, with all registration proceeds supporting Beacon Rescue's disaster response and anti-exploitation efforts.
