One last year for the blues...
Earlier this year, organizers of the Kenlake Hot August Blues announced this would be the final year of the long-running live music festival.
The event will be held at Kenlake State Park in Aurora, Kentucky.
The dates for this year’s festival is August 25-26, 2023, and is completely free of charge.
On Friday night, you’re invited to come out and enjoy the official kickoff to Kenlake Hot August Blues. Live music and good times will be held on the lawn of the Kenlake State Park Lodge from 6pm to 9pm.
On Saturday, the event continues at the beautiful Kenlake State Park Amphitheater, overlooking Kentucky Lake. Bring your lawn chairs! Gates open at noon and the music will continue until 10pm that night.
Of course, you can always listen from your boat along the shoreline of Kentucky Lake!
